Romeo Ese Michael

Romeo Ese Michael is a Nigerian legal practitioner and Partner at D. A. Awosika & Partners LLP, Lagos. He earned his LL.B. (Hons) from Anambra State University, where he served as Chief Judge of the Moot Court. He proceeded to the Nigerian Law School and was called to the Bar in 2009. He later obtained an LL.M. from the University of Lagos, specializing in maritime law, secured credit transactions, and tax law.

He joined his current firm in 2012 and has extensive litigation experience, appearing up to the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He contributed to landmark copyright cases. He is certified in Information Technology and Law by the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and is accredited as an Insolvency Practitioner by the Corporate Affairs Commission. In 2025, he was appointed as Notary Public for Nigeria by the Chief Justice of Nigeria. In addition, he works as an External Consultant at Claybrooks Attorneys, where he collaborates on corporate, commercial, and dispute resolution matters.
